The Assam Government has decided to give bikes to deserving young lady students of class twelfth assessment. The Assam Finance Minister has announced a plan named AHSEC Scooty Scheme under the Pragyan Bharati Scooty. Under this plan, young lady students who receive first division marks in the state board twelfth class will be given a bike. This year 22,000 girls have received Scooty.

Eligibility: Girl students who have secured 60% or above and boy students who have secured 75% or above in Higher Secondary Examination 2023 under AHSEC.

In 2022, 29,748 girl students and 6,052 boy students received Scooty under this Scooty Scheme. For this year, there is no need to fill online application for this scheme.

The main objective of launching this scheme is to provide proper resources to all of the girls’ students who have been studying in Assam state. This scheme will also encourage the girls to take up great higher education and be independent on their own. District Wise Distribution Schedule of Assam Scooty Scheme
The Assam government has not yet announced this year's distribution date. From November 30th, 2022, the Assam government began the scooter distribution procedure. The awards were given out to the pupils in Assam's Kamrup and Kamrup (Metro) districts during the initial round. This program focuses especially on female students who got a fantastic score of 60% or more on the higher secondary exam administered by AHSEC. Notably, the Pragyan Bharati Scheme will continue to offer advantages to students in 2023, benefiting both boys and girls. However, boy students must achieve a greater percentage of 75% or above in the aforementioned exam in order to be eligible for the program.
