New Mahindra XUV400 EV: Mahindra is going to launch its new updated XUV400 Electric in the Indian market very soon. Mahindra is currently the largest SUV manufacturer in the Indian market, their vehicles are mostly in demand. Along with this, Mahindra is also the fourth largest manufacturer in the Indian market.
The company is going to operate the XUV400 with new features to further strengthen its position in the electric sector, a video of which has now surfaced.

Mahindra XUV400 EV New Updates
The new Mahindra XUV400 is equipped with a large touch screen infotainment system. It gets a larger 10.25-inch touch screen infotainment system with a larger digital driver display and redesigned automatic climate control with AC vents. Apart from this, the new XUV400 Electric also gets wireless charging, push button start stop engine, height adjustable driver seat, updated steering wheel, newly designed dashboard layout with central console and new premium theme. Although some things are still kept the same as the old generation.

Mahindra XUV400 EV Battery and Range
There have been no changes to the battery pack of the Mahindra XUV400, it is powered with its current battery option. It gets a 34.5 kWh battery pack that has a claimed range of 375 km, and a larger 39.4 kWh battery pack that has a claimed range of 456 km. Both the battery packs make 150 bhp and 310 Nm of power together with the electric motor.
Mahindra XUV400 EV Charging
With a 50kW DC fast charger, it takes 50 minutes to charge the XUV400 Electric, which takes the battery from 0% to 80%. Apart from this, there is a 7.2 kilo watt AC charger which charges the battery in 6.5 hours. And 3.3kWh home charge that fully charges the battery in 13 hours.

Mahindra XUV400 EV Features and Safety
Apart from the above features, the As a safety feature, it has been provided with six airbags, electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring system, hill haul assist, hill descent control, traction control, and sensors with rear parking camera.

Mahindra XUV400 EV Price in India
Currently the price of XUV400 in the Indian market ranges from Rs 15.99 lakh to Rs 19.39 lakh ex-showroom Delhi. Whereas the price of its new features loaded variant is going to be premium from this price. It is expected that it will be launched in the Indian market in the coming few months.
Mahindra XUV400 EV RIVALS
After launch, the XUV400 Electric will compete primarily with the Tata Nexon EV in the Indian market. However, apart from this, names of Hyundai Kona Electric and MG ZS EV also come up.
