ONGC Scholarship 2023
The ONGC Scholarship for the Economically Weaker General Category, the ONGC Foundation Scholarship Scheme for OBC Category Students, and the ONGC Scholarship to Meritorious SC/ST Students are all scholarships offered under the ONGC Scholarship umbrella. Each year, applicants will receive Rs. 48000. Students that are enrolled in professional degree programs will be awarded the scholarship. The ONGC Foundation's mission is to aid students financially. 2000 candidates will be chosen for this program, and of them, 500 will come from the economically disadvantaged general category, 500 from the OBC group, and the remaining 1000 scholarships will go to pupils in the SC/ST category. The scholarship has a 50% female allocation.

Selection Process of ONGC Meritorious Scholarship
- Candidates will be chosen based on their overall performance on the qualifying exam required for each eligible course of study. Students with lesser family income will be chosen if they received equivalent marks on the qualifying exam.
- Students from households who fall below the poverty line (BPL) will be given preference; other students will only be taken into consideration if there are insufficient numbers of BPL pupils who meet the eligibility requirements.

Benefits of ONGC Scholarships
- Each year, the foundation will choose 1000 candidates from the SC/ST category, 500 students from the general category, and 500 students from the OBC category to receive the ONGC scholarship.
- At the time of application, the students should not be receiving benefits from any other scholarships.
- Students that are chosen will get INR 4,000 per month, or INR 48,000 annually.
