Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has transferred the new altered Assam Public Services Combined Competitive Examination (Amendment) Rules, 2019 in its authority site. The CCE schedule has been changed as needs be from the previous one.

APSC CCE Syllabus and Exam Pattern

Plans and Subjects for the APSC Preliminary Examination 

The Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) will comprise of two papers: 

1. Paper-1: General Studies I 200 Marks 2 Hours Duration 

2. Paper-2: General Studies II 200 Marks 2 Hours Duration 

All out - 400 Marks 

The all out passing characteristics of Paper-I General Studies I of Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination possibly controlled by the Commission. 

The Paper 1 : General Studies I will be set so that 30% to 35% of inquiries will mandatorily identify with Assam. 

The Paper 2 : General Studies II will have least qualifying characteristics of 33%.

The Main Examination will comprise of Written Examination and an Interview test.

1. Paper A (300 Marks - 3 Hours Duration)— Any one of the language from Assamese, Bengali, Bodo. Up-and-comers from Dima Hasao, Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong Districts who had not concentrated any of these dialects in school will be excluded from showing up for qualifying language papers. 

2. Paper B - English (300 Marks - 3 Hours Duration)

Negative Marking in APSC CCE Exam 

(a) There will be punishment (negative checking) for wrong answers set apart by an up-and-comer in the Multiple Choice Question Papers as chosen by the Commission.
